About this stay

The Hide at Tregawne is a handcrafted shepherd's hut just outside Wadebridge on Cornwall's north coast, set within a hamlet of Cornish cottages on the edge of a working farm. The interior layers heavy linens, robes, slippers, and thick towels over a full kitchen, log burning fire, smart TV, and super fast wifi. Outside there is a private hot tub, a sauna, sun beds for stargazing, and a garden planted with ornamental grasses, foxgloves, and butterfly attracting plants.

The property is pet friendly, which not all high spec stays in Cornwall accommodate. Countryside views are framed rather than panoramic, providing an intimate rather than expansive outlook. The feather filled duvet, robes, and slippers signal a stay that prioritises sensory comfort over architectural spectacle. At 4.95 across 255 reviews, the combination of a hot tub, sauna, and considered garden design in a working farm setting has clearly found its audience on the North Cornwall coast.

What we love

We love the sauna alongside the hot tub. Most glamping stays offer one or the other; having both on a Cornish farm gives evenings here a spa quality that the usual fire pit cannot match.
